Russia destroys 31st major DTEK substation in Odesa Oblast

Russian forces attacked a DTEK energy facility in Odesa Oblast, thus, damaging the 31st major substation in the region, the company’s press service reported on Feb. 12.
Energy workers described the destruction as "significant," noting that restoring the equipment will require a considerable amount of time.
"We are now working on-site to clear the debris," the company stressed.
"We will do everything possible to eliminate the attack consequences as quickly as possible. The priority is to restore electricity to critical infrastructure facilities."
Feb. 12 drone attack on Odesa damaged both civil and critical infrastructure, leaving one person injured. A fire broke out at an infrastructure site, and a nine-story residential building sustained damage to its facade and roof, with a fire igniting on the top floor.
Odesa Oblast governor Oleh Kiper specified that in the Odesa district, energy infrastructure, a private house, a market, and a shop were damaged, and 15 cars were destroyed by fire.
Russia launched a mass attack on Ukraine overnight on Feb. 12 with attack drones and targeting Kyiv with ballistic missiles. In the capital, infrastructure facilities were hit, resulting in two injuries.
In Dnipro, private houses and cars were damaged, a four-year-old girl and an infant sustained injuries.
