38,000 Ukrainians diagnosed with COVID-19

Over the past day, 38,257 Ukrainians have been diagnosed with COVID-19, a total of 240 deaths were recorded, and 17,063 patients recovered from the disease, according to official data from the Ukrainian Ministry of Health as of the morning of Feb. 9.

The current daily rate of COVID-19 infections in Ukraine remains high, continuing the trend of abnormally high and rising infection rates over recent weeks.

Over the course of the pandemic, a total of 4,380,047 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Ukraine, of whom 3,713,348 have recovered, and 101,887 have died.

No data is available for the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the non-government-controlled parts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, and Sevastopol.

An adaptive quarantine is in effect in the country until the end of March 2022, dividing Ukraine into colored zones that represent the impact of the coronavirus on the region.

Ivano-Frankivsk and Rivne Oblasts are in the red zone, while all other regions are currently in the yellow or orange zones.

Over 30 million coronavirus vaccination doses have been administered, and nearly 14 million people have received two doses, with more than 500,000 people having had a booster dose.
