A fire broke out at the Afipsky Oil Refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai overnight, following a drone attack, local Operative Headquarters reported on Sept. 26.
The fire was allegedly caused by “falling drone fragments.”
“The debris of a drone fell on one of the units," the statement wrote.
"No casualties were reported. The fire covered an area of 30 square meters and has already been extinguished. Emergency and specialized services are on site.”
The Afipsky Oil Refinery was earlier attacked by drones on Aug. 28, which triggered a large-scale fire.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
