Drones target Volgograd’s Lukoil refinery, explosions reported

Explosions rocked the Russian city of Volgograd, locals reported a drone attack on a local oil refinery and the air defense operating in the area,  Russian Telegram channel Baza wrote on Feb. 3.

Residents recorded at least 50 explosions as air defense was engaged in repelling the air assault. Reports indicated that the blasts were heard near a local oil refinery owned by Lukoil.

Power outages were recorded in some areas.

The Russian Telegram channel Shot also noted that explosions were reported by residents of Leninsk and the settlement of Svitly Yar, located near Volgograd.
