The Ukrainian military has already liberated 11 settlements in Luhansk Oblast from Russian occupation, Serhiy Haidai, the head of the Luhansk military administration, reported in his channel on Telegram on Nov. 12.
“The advance of the Armed Forces is not so rapid,” he said.
“The invading Russian forces, unfortunately, managed to strongly prepare, they are constantly gathering reserves, equipment, and building defense structures. While they mine everything around.”
According to Haidai, the de-occupied settlements are small villages. However, the very fact of the start of the de-occupation of Luhansk Oblast is a huge achievement.
Also, in front-line villages, the occupiers are forcibly removing local residents from their homes and using them as quarters for themselves, Haidai added.
