The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has revoked a resolution on defense procurement purchases which had banned profit-making from defense ministry contracts, the government’s representative in the Ukrainian parliament, Taras Melnychuk, wrote on Telegram on July 18.

"Resolution No. 335 dated March 20, 2022, on pricing for supplying goods, performing works, and providing services to meet the needs of the security and defense sector during wartime, and amendments to it, were declared invalid," Melnychuk reported.

The State Audit Service of Ukraine recently announced that purchases worth UAH 2.5 billion ($68 million) had violated the now-revoked resolution, which had placed restrictions on both private and state companies.
