At least four civilians were killed in the past day after invading Russian forces attacked the town of Apostolove in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with Uragan multiple launch rocket systems, Andriy Osa, the local mayor, said in a Telegram messenger post on June 15.
According to the official, rescue teams are working at the scene to tackle the consequences of the attack and restore infrastructure damaged as a result of it.
The Uragan (Hurricane) multiple rocket launch system is a heavy rocket artillery system intended for use against concentrations of troops.
However, invading Russian forces have been firing such systems, along with conventional artillery, to level entire Ukrainian towns and cities, causing massive destruction of non-military infrastructure and huge numbers of civilian casualties.
Apostolove Mayor Andriy Osa reported that after the first "missile's arrival" three local men left their homes, and were covered by the second arrival.
Another man died at his home.
In addition, another person was injured and is currently in hospital.
