An unknown UAV attacked an electrical substation in the Russian border city of Belgorod in the late hours of April 16.
This comes days after Russian authorities cancelled parades for ‘International Workers’ Day' on May 1 and ‘Victory Day’ on May 9, citing a high “terror attack” threat.
Several videos showing fires in the aftermath of the attack were published by locals, showing an electrical substation as the apparent target.
There were two alleged fires at civilian facilities, reported Belgorod Oblast Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.
There were no reported casualties.
