Russian drone struck a gas station on the outskirts of Sumy, injuring civilians and causing property damage, regional governor Oleh Hryhorov reported on June 24.

Three civilians at the gas station suffered injuries. Medics are examining the victims and providing them with assistance.

Russian forces systematically target gas stations across Oblast, Hryhorov noted.

The attack also damaged vehicles - officials are still clarifying the final consequences of the shelling, he added.

On June 22, reports indicated that Russian troops struck Sumy's Kovpakivskyi district with six guided aerial bombs, damaging city infrastructure facilities. A 60-year-old trolleybus driver also suffered severe injuries, and the vehicle itself was completely destroyed by fire following the attack.

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.

Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.

For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
