Ukraine destroys Akhmat vehicle, ammo stockpile inside Russia
Ukraine’s 413th Raid Battalion, part of the Armed Forces’ Drone Systems Forces, have destroyed a Russian anti-tank mine depot and armored vehicles in Russia’s Kursk Oblast, the military reported on Telegram on June 12.
Several enemy transport vehicles were also eliminated.
The 413th Raid Battalion, operating as part of a composite unit from the 78th Shmel Air Assault Regiment, identified and struck a cache of anti-tank mines left poorly concealed in a forest strip by Russian troops.
Additionally, Ukrainian drone operators successfully hit a C-STS armored vehicle, commonly known as Akhmat — a platform designed specifically for Chechen paramilitary forces. Several Russian trucks, pickups, and vans were also destroyed in the strike.
This latest action further highlights the growing effectiveness of Ukrainian drone units operating deep behind enemy lines, particularly in areas of Russia used to supply and support occupation forces.
