Unknown drones attacked Chechnya overnight, damaging an FSB building in the Achkhoy-Martan district, Astra Telegram channel reported on Dec. 2, citing local residents.
“Local residents report in chats that as a result of the overnight UAV attack on Chechnya, an FSB building in the Achkhoy-Martan district was damaged,” the channel wrote.
There have been no official comments on the incident so far.
Russia’s Defense Ministry, however, claimed that four drones were shot down over Chechnya.
In addition, the Telegram channel Exilenova+ published video of drone strikes in Gudermes. The channel stated that the strike hit the location of a base used by one of the units of the Akhmat regiment.
On the night of Dec. 2, drones also attacked an oil depot in the town of Livny in Russia’s Oryol Oblast, causing a fire in at least two storage tanks.
