Drones target one of world's largest fertilizer producers in Russia's Stavropol Krai - video

An overnight drone attack targeted the industrial zone of Nevinnomyssk, where the Azot chemical plant is located, Stavropol Krai governor Vladimir Vladimirov wrote on March 19.
He claimed "no damage to critical infrastructure."
"The facades and windows of several buildings were damaged in Nevinnomyssk as a result of falling UAV debris," he wrote.
Azot chemical plant, which belongs to the EuroChem group — one of the world's largest producers of mineral fertilizers — is located in the city. The plant is capable of producing over 1 million tons of ammonia and up to 1.4 million tons of ammonium nitrate. It supplies several enterprises within the Russian military-industrial complex.
Drones earlier attacked the chemical plant overnight on March 13. Prior to this, the facility suffered attacks in January 2026, as well as in December and August 2025.
Air defenses "intercepted and destroyed" 28 drones over Stavropol Krai overnight, Russian Defense Ministry stated.
