The European Union will provide Ukraine with 40 more generators, in addition to the 550 that the Europeans provided earlier, EU's chief diplomat, Josep Borrell, announced on Twitter on Nov. 30.
The European Union will provide Ukraine with 40 more generators through the civil security mechanism to help maintain normal life during prolonged power outages.
“Russia is trying to break the spirit of Ukrainians by hitting energy infrastructure and using winter conditions as a weapon against the civilian population. At the G7 meeting, we coordinated (our) support,” Borrell wrote.
According to him, the European Union is providing another 40 generators in addition to the 550 already provided to Ukraine through the civil protection mechanism.
It was previously reported that Oschadbank will issue business loans for the purchase of uninterrupted power equipment.
