Explosions rock Kremenchuk and Kropyvnytskyi during air raid alert in Ukraine
Explosions rocked Ukraine’s Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast, and Kropyvnytskyi, Kirovohrad Oblast during an air raid alert, local Telegram channels reported on Feb. 16.
No preliminary casualties or damage after the explosions were reported in Kropyvnytskyi, regional governor, Andriy Raikovych, said on Telegram. Poltava regional governor, Filip Pronin, also reported no damage or casualties in the Oblast.
Ukraine’s Air Force earlier reported the missiles flying toward Myrhorod, Kremenchuk, and Kropyvnytskyi.
Russia’s missile attack triggered air raid alerts across multiple Ukraine’s Oblasts on Feb. 15. Explosions reverberated across Ukraine, from the eastern cities to Lviv in the west. Air defense systems were engaged in Kyiv and the surrounding Kyiv Oblast.
Thirteen out of 26 Russian missiles of various types were shot down in the early morning attack on Ukraine, the Air Force reported on that day.
