Explosions rock occupied Crimea amid Russian air defense operating
Explosions rocked occupied Crimea overnight, heard in almost all peninsula South - from Sevastopol to Balaklava, as well as in Saky, Yevpatoria, and Simferopol, Telegram channel Krymsky Veter (Crimean Wind) reported on August 2.
Smoke was seen over Sevastopol city center after a series of explosions.
The Russian forces launched aircraft from the Belbek airfield in response to the initial explosions.
Russian air defense allegedly downed more than four aerial targets, Sevastopol's occupation administration head Mikhail Razvozhayev claimed.
Debris from intercepted missiles and drones fell on the city's streets.
Krymskyi Veter also reported a possible hit near Russian Black Sea Fleet's 13th Ship Repair Plant in Kilen Bay, Sevastopol.
