Satellite data reveals fires at Russian troop deployments on Arabat Spit

Satellite imagery revealed fires breaking out at Russian troop deployment sites on the Arabat Spit, which extends from Crimea to Kherson Oblast, Krymsky Veter (Crimean Wind) monitoring group reported on June 23.
The Arabat Spit is a 115-km-long narrow sandbar located in the northeastern part of the Crimean Peninsula. Its northern half belongs to the Kherson Oblast of Ukraine, while the southern villages (such as Solyanoe and Kamenskoye) sit in Crimea.
Telegram channels report strikes in the settlements of Henicheska Hirka and Shchaslyvtseve.
The Telegram channels earlier reported that a railway station, an oil terminal, and S-300/S-400 positions were attacked in occupied Crimea overnight on June 23. Specifically, a fire broke out at the Pivdenna railway station in Kerch. According to satellite imagery, several fires occurred on the Kerch Peninsula, as well as at the Kavkaz port.
According to the monitoring channel, a fire is still raging at the oil terminal in Kerch, which was attacked on June 21. A fire was also reported at the entrance to Kerch, where S-300/S-400 position is located. Another fire was recorded in the village of Bagerove, where an S-300/S-400 position is also situated.
Defense Forces' strikes on Russian targets in Crimea
During the night of June 22, drones attacked a number of targets in temporarily occupied Crimea. Local residents reported explosions and air defense activity. It was reported that the Tavriiska Thermal Power Plant, an FSB border service building in Armyansk, and fuel depots in Feodosia came under attack.
During the night of June 21, a massive fire broke out at a fuel terminal in the marine fishing port in Kerch following a UAV attack, while the occupation authorities of Crimea announced that fuel sales at gas stations were suspended.
AFU General Staff later reported that during the night of June 21, Defense Forces struck an oil terminal in occupied Kerch and the Kavkaz port on the territory of the aggressor state of Russia itself.
On June 20, they attacked Tyumen Oil Refinery 2,000 km from the Ukrainian border.
Robert Brovdi, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, published a video on his Telegram channel showing hits on the oil depot at the fuel-loading terminal in Kerch. He apologized to Ukrainians in the occupied territory "for the constant alarms, closed bridges and roads, darkness, noise, and stress," advising them to stay safe and "away from military facilities and anything flammable."
