A freight train derailed in Russia’s Krasnoyarsk Krai at
08:50 a.m. EET on the Krasnoyarsk Vostochny-Sorokino stretch, with no reported
casualties according to Russian authorities, the Russian Telegram channel Astra reported on May 19.
Cause of the incident is currently being established. Train traffic on the track was temporarily suspended.
A drone attacked a freight train transporting fuel in tanks in Volgograd Oblast overnight on May 13-14. Nine cars derailed, an explosion occurred, and a fire broke out.
