Germany sends Ukraine tank shells and tracked vehicles
Germany
has delivered a new military aid package to Kyiv, including THeMIS tracked
unmanned vehicles and Leopard-1 tank ammunition, the German government said in
a message on its website on June 1.
The package includes:
- THeMIS unmanned tracked platforms equipped with anti-tank missiles and other weapons;
- ammunition rounds for Leopard-1 main battle tanks;
- 8x8 HX81 truck tractor trains and 14 semi-trailers;
In addition, Germany plans to transfer 64 Bandvagn 206 all-terrain tracked vehicles and 66 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine.
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg previously stated that Kyiv has sufficient resources to liberate Ukrainian territories from Russian occupation.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
