Explosions rocked Kursk railway
station at about 3
am on Aug. 20, followed by a fire. Russia claimed that a Ukrainian drone
attacked the Kursk train station in the western Russia, with the regional
governor Roman Starovoit posted images of the aftermath on Telegram on Aug. 20.
The building’s roof, façade, and waiting room took the most damage. The first platform was also damaged and is temporarily closed for passengers.
Five people were slightly injured by glass fragments.
Russian authorities promised to start repair works in the near future.
Besides, drones attempt to attack Moscow the same night, once again. The capital's Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports were closed for departures and arrivals. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin claimed that Russian air defense "neutralized drones approaching Moscow from the south."
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
