Kyiv Security Forum spotlights justice, unity, and resistance
The 17th annual Kyiv Security Forum, organized by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Foundation “Open Ukraine,” is taking place on May 8–9 under the banner: “UA: Unite Again to Defeat the Global Aggressor.”
This year’s event is dedicated to two symbolic milestones — the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the 40th anniversary of Europe Day as an official European Union holiday. In the context of Ukraine’s ongoing war with Russia, these anniversaries carry added significance.
The forum will center on three core questions:
- How do we stop Russian aggression?
- How can Ukraine — and the world — achieve a just peace?
- What must be done to prevent World War III?

Over two days, the forum will host high-level discussions featuring senior government officials, military leaders from Ukraine's partner states, intelligence community figures, lawmakers, diplomats, global thought leaders, civil society activists, and security policy experts.
