Lviv wakes up without air raid sirens

On Tuesday, March 15, the residents of the western Ukrainian city of Lviv woke up without the sounds of air raid sirens, according to an NV correspondent in the city. This is the first quiet morning since Thursday, March 10.

On the morning of Monday, March 14, an air raid siren rang out from 02:19 to 07:41. In the evening, air raid sirens blared from 19:55 to 20:41.

On Sunday, March 13, in Lviv, an air raid siren continued from 0331 to 0633. During this period, eight missile strikes are reported to have hit the Ukrain-ian Center for International Peacekeeping and Security, a military base 40 km northwest of the city. At least 35 people are confirmed to have been killed by the strikes, the local regional military administration reported.
