Sudden power outage plunges hundreds of customers in Poltava Oblast into darkness
A power outage has left about a thousand households and businesses without electricity in Poltava Oblast’s Myrhorod district, regional Governor Volodymyr Kohut reported on Telegram early on May 1.
“Last night there was an accident on a power line in the Myrhorod municipality,” he said.
"Emergency teams are already on the scene to restore power and determine the causes of the accident."
Kohut gave no further details.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
