Drone attacks trigger fires and blackouts in occupied Ukrainian cities

A series of explosions and a drone attack were recorded in temporarily occupied Melitopol, Donetsk, and the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast overnight on June 29, Exilenova+ Telegram channel reported, citing local residents.
At 6 a.m., Exilenova+ reported that a fire was still raging in temporarily occupied Melitopol following the nighttime attack.
Later, they noted that a blackout had hit Donetsk, plunging the city into darkness.
In April, the 1st Azov Corps reported that strike drone pilots were controlling Russian logistics routes near temporarily occupied Donetsk.
In particular, Ukrainian UAVs are actively operating in Zuhres, Andriivka, Starobesheve, Horlivka, Lysychansk, and on the Donetsk bypass highway.
In May, an officer of the Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 1st Azov Corps told Radio NV that battalions are responsible for the line of contact, while brigades have the means to control 50 to 70 kilometers beyond it. Meanwhile, controlling the zone extending 70 to 150 km behind the front line falls under the corps' jurisdiction.
On June 3, the 3rd Army Corps announced that, as part of an operation targeting Russian rear logistics, fighters from the strike drone company of the 3rd Separate Reconnaissance Battalion struck trucks, GAZelle vans, and armored vehicles in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.
On June 4, the 28th Mechanized Brigade reported that pilots from its Spalah UAV unit had taken temporarily occupied Horlivka in Donetsk Oblast under fire control.
