20 December 2024, 07:46 AM

Ukrainian air defense forces successfully intercepted all Russian-launched Shahed drones in an attempted attack on Kyiv, city officials reported early on Dec. 20.

Air raid alerts were issued twice during the night.

No fires, casualties, or significant damage were reported.

Kyiv governor Serhii Popko reported the attack's aftermath.

"All Russian drones targeting Kyiv were detected and neutralized before reaching the city or near it."

Preliminary reports indicate that debris from a downed drone caused minor damage to the façade of a warehouse in the Desnianskyi district. No injuries or fires were reported.
