Energy situation in Odesa remains difficult following enemy strikes, with specialists continuing repair works, Odesa City Military Administration Head Serhii Lysak reported on Feb. 20.
"The situation with energy in the city remains complex," Lysak wrote, noting that the night passed without air raid alerts.
DTEK specialists are dealing with the attack aftermath.
Invincibility Points are operating 24/7 to help residents survive the blackouts. Over 13,000 locals visited these emergency heating centers over the past 24 hours alone, with about 5,000 using mobile heating points.
Enemy strikes on Feb. 17
Severe power, heating, and water outages hit Odesa following an overnight Russian attack on Feb. 17.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy ordered immediate aid for the city and maximum acceleration of restoration efforts.
DTEK reported that the enemy strikes targeted critical energy infrastructure, emphasizing that the resulting destruction was 'extremely serious.'
