Ukraine receives intelligence on Oryol oil depot - photos

Atesh agents mapped a strategic oil depot in Russia’s Oryol Oblast — a hub that supplies up to 40% of the fuel for Russian forces on the Kharkiv and Kursk fronts — and handed the data to Ukraine’s military, partisans wrote on Nov. 6.
The movement said the base is a key logistics node that supplies fuel to Russian groupings operating on the Kharkiv and Kursk directions.
According to Atesh, up to 40% of the fuel needed by enemy forces on the above directions passes through this facility.
“The enemies try to protect the site by stretching special anti-drone nets over the tanks," partisans stressed.
"But these precautions are useless — we have already obtained precise coordinates of all key facilities and their layout plans.”
Atesh added that the site has strong protection, including multiple security rings, patrols and an internal security service staffed by FSB personnel.
However, the movement’s agents said that this defense is powerless against their network, because “we have people everywhere — from the perimeter to the base’s internal services.” They reported that they hold delivery schedules, information on vulnerable points and security.
The partisans said all collected information about the oil depot has already been handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On Nov. 5, a series of explosions rocked the city of Oryol in Russia — local residents reported flashes in the sky and said the attack targeted the local thermal power plant.
Despite claims by Oryol governor Andrey Klichkov that drones were shot down, OSINT analysis by ASTRA indicates the strikes hit the thermal power plant and were likely carried out with a missile or a rocket-type drone.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
