Poltava Oblast under attack
Russian troops attacked Poltava Oblast, regional governor Filip Pronin said on Telegram on May 5.
"Russians don't have holidays, they don't have anything holy. On Easter, the enemy attacked Poltava Oblast," he said.
Explosions were heard within the Poltava district. Preliminarily, there were no casualties.
Earlier on May 5, Ukrainian Air Force warned of high-speed target movement toward Poltava Oblast.
The Russian occupiers also attacked the center of Kharkiv in the afternoon of May 5. As a result of hitting two places, at least ten people were injured.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
