Potentially toxic fire wages through Russian warehouse – video

3 August 2023, 06:42 PM

A fire has engulfed a warehouse in the village of Achkasovo in Moscow Oblast, covering an area of 300 square meters, according to a video published on social media on August 3.

The warehouse is believed to store oxygen batteries and lithium, which has hampered efforts to put out the blaze.

As a result, firefighters have had to rely on foam instead of water, as the latter would cause a toxic chemical reaction.

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.

Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.

For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
