Russian strikes damaged energy infrastructure in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhya oblasts overnight into Nov. 13, while Odesa Oblast facilities were hit earlier, leaving consumers without power amid ongoing restoration efforts, Ukrenergo reported.
Emergency restoration work is underway everywhere security conditions allow.
Consumption restrictions are in place in most Ukrainian regions due to the aftermath of previous massive Russian missile and drone attacks.
Ukrenergo clarified that hourly outage schedules of two to four tiers will remain in effect until the end of the day. Maximum restrictions are expected in the evening hours.
In all regions with scheduled outages, power limits for industrial consumers and businesses are also active.
According to the Air Force of Ukraine's Armed Forces, overnight into Nov. 13, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with one Iskander-M ballistic missile and 138 strike drones of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types. Air defenses shot down or suppressed 102 enemy drones.
Earlier, Energy Minister Svitlana Grynchuk said the government is working to shorten outage schedules, but the situation could change with each new Russian attack on energy infrastructure.
Previously, Verkhovna Rada subcommittee chair on energy saving and efficiency Serhiy Nahornyak suggested outage schedules will likely continue until the end of winter.
