Russian artillery has delivered another strike on Kharkiv’s Novobavarskyi District, city Mayor Ihor Terekhov said in a Telegram post on Aug. 24.

Novobavarskyi District is under attack now,” said Terekhov.

“Several locations hit. No casualties reported thus far.”

Ukraine’s second-largest city prior to the full-scale invasion, Kharkiv is located just 40km from the Russian border and has been a constant recipient of attacks launched from the nearby Russian city of Belgorod.
