The Russian military shelled the Kyivskiy District of the city of Kharkiv in the east of Ukraine early on Aug. 23, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said on Telegram messenger.
“The morning of the City Day began with the shelling of Kyivskiy District,” he said.
According to Terekhov, a private house was hit.
No casualties have been reported as a result of the shelling.
Earlier on Aug. 22, the Russian military launched a missile attack on an infrastructure object in the Kyivskiy District of Kharkiv from a site in Russia’s Belgorod Oblast.
