Russia targets Khmelnytskyi Oblast infrastructure with Kinzhal missiles

The Russian forces launched Kinzhal hypersonic missiles on infrastructure facilities in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, leading to no casualties or damage, local governor Serhiy Tyurin reported on Telegram on Sept. 26.

Although there were no casualties or significant damage recorced, a utility building on private property was affected.

The Russian forces deployed MiG-31K fighter jets carrying Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles three times on Sept. 26. Explosions were heard in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, particularly in the city of Starokostiantyniv.

Russia also launched Shahed drone attacks across Ukraine overnight, with explosions reported in the city of Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, and Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts.
