Russia launches 170+ drones at Ukraine overnight - Air Force

Russian forces launched 171 strike drones, including about 120 jet-powered Shaheds, at Ukraine overnight, the Air Force reported on April 29.
Ukrainian air defense neutralized 154 Russian drones in the north, south, and east of the country. The attack was carried out using Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmaz UAVs.
The UAVs were launched from Kursk, Oryol, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, temporarily occupied Donetsk, Gvardiyske, and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).
Ukrainian defense forces repelled the attack using aviation, anti-aircraft missiles, EW (electronic warfare), UAVs, and mobile fire groups.
12 UAVs hit 10 sites, with debris falling in 12 locations, Ukrainian military reported.
The Air Force warned that the attack is ongoing, with several Russian drones still remaining in the Ukrainian airspace.
Russian forces launched an overnight drone attack on Kharkiv, damaging infrastructure and residential houses, triggering fire at a supermarket parking lot.
