Shahed drone strike on Kyiv Oblast: fire breaks out, private homes damaged
Russian forces launched a drone attack on Kyiv Oblast, causing fires and damaging residential houses in three districts, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported on March 12.
Firefighters successfully extinguished the blazes, no casualties were reported.
The rescuers shared the photos of the attack aftermath.
On the evening of March 11, Russia launched Shahed drones against Ukraine, triggering air raid alerts across multiple oblasts.
Mass drone attack was reported in Dnipro. An infrastructure object was ablaze, 10 private houses suffered damage in the attack.
Explosions could be heard in Sumy and Kharkiv, with Ukrainian air defense operating in Kyiv and its surrounding areas.
