Russian forces resume assaults in Kherson Oblast — Southern Defense Forces
The Southern Defense Forces repelled 29 Russian attacks in Kherson Oblast as assault operations in the Prydniprovsk direction resume, the military's statement wrote on Oct. 11.
The Russian troops launched five assaults in the Kherson direction and two in the Zaporizhzhya direction over the past day.
The occupiers also continue artillery shelling, airstrikes, and UAV launches of various types while conducting aerial reconnaissance. On Oct. 10 alone, the Russian army deployed 318 FPV drones in the south, including three Lancet strike UAVs.
AFU General Staff reported on the morning of Oct. 11 that the occupiers twice attacked Defense Forces' positions in the Orikhiv direction, near Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne, but without success. No losses of positions in the Prydniprovs direction were reported, and Ukrainian forces repelled five enemy attacks in the past day.
On Oct. 2, Southern Defense Forces spokesperson Vladyslav Voloshyn said that Russian invaders were preparing for assaults in the Zaporizhzhya direction to capture Ukrainian positions at the Robotyne "bridgehead" and after that advance toward Donetsk Oblast administrative borders.
On Oct. 5, Voloshyn also mentioned that the Russian forces were preparing for new assaults in the Orikhiv and Robotyne directions in Zaporizhzhya Oblast.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
