Invading Russian forces attacked the Ukrainian capital city of Kyiv early on Dec. 14 with Iranian Shahed suicide drones.
An air raid alert had lasted for more than three hours.
Ukrainian air defense and electronic warfare forces shot down 13 enemy drones.
The debris of one of them fell in Kyiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district, resulting in one administrative building being damaged, as well as four nearby residential buildings.
Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Photos show shattered windows in some apartments.
In addition, a suicide drone shot down by the Ukrainian military had an inscription “Za Ryazan” (“For Ryazan,” a city in Russia that hosts an air base that Ukraine is thought to have attacked with its own strike drones on Dec. 5).

According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, the capital city was targeted by two waves of drone attacks. The drones came from the direction of the Sea of Azov, to the southwest of the capital, Ukraine’s Air Force reported.
