Ballistic missile and 100+ drones: Russia hits 17 locations overnight

Russian forces attacked Ukraine overnight, using an Iskander-M ballistic missile as well as 111 strike drones — including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmaz, and other types of UAVs, Air Force reported on Jan. 31.

As of 8 a.m., air defense neutralized 80 Russian drones. The attack resulted in confirmed strikes by the ballistic missile and 25 strike UAVs at 15 locations, as well as the fall of downed targets and debris at two more locations.

Ukrainian Air Force warned that the attack is ongoing, with several Russian drones still in Ukrainian airspace.

Explosions were reported overnight in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhya, and air raid alerts were declared across other oblasts.
