The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck enemy targets in southern Ukraine on March 21, destroying an ammunition depot on the Kinburn Spit, as well as armored vehicles, two reconnaissance drones and an observation post on the east bank of Kherson Oblast, Natalia Humeniuk, head of the joint press center of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, said on national television on March 22.

"Over the past day, one enemy tank, two armored vehicles, two reconnaissance drones that they tried to use again to identify our positions, an observation post on the left bank of the enemy unit and an ammunition depot on the Kinburn Spit were destroyed," she explained.

"So we can say that the Ochakiv axis will be a little quieter for some time.”

Humeniuk added that the Ukrainian military continues counter-battery warfare and is working to push the enemy on the east bank as far as possible.

Earlier, the Ukrainian military’s Operational Command South reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are striking enemy positions on the Kinburn Spit every day.

According to Humeniuk, the Russian military understands that entering the Kinburn Spit could be a "one-way ticket".
