Russian strikes on Kropyvnytskyi killed three civilians and injured six, Regional Military Administration head Andrii Raykovych reported late on Oct. 14.

In an updated briefing issued at 1:23 a.m., Raykovych confirmed that the death toll had climbed to three. Six other residents sustained wounds of varying severity.

"Five victims are undergoing treatment in municipal medical facilities. One individual declined hospitalization," Raykovych stated, expressing condolences to the families of the victims.

Raykovych underscored that Russian forces deliberately targeted logistics hubs, transportation depots, and industrial enterprises. The regional governor urged residents to observe strict operational security and refrain from uploading any photos or video footage showing the locations and consequences of incoming strikes.

Correspondents for public broadcaster Suspilne reported a series of powerful detonations echoing across the city. In the regional center, one strike impacted the courtyard of a multi-story apartment building, shattering windows and damaging civilian vehicles parked outside.

Shockwaves and debris damaged several private residential homes in the city's suburbs.

Day-Long Attacks Across Kirovohrad Oblast

Russian forces struck the premises of a transportation company in Kropyvnytskyi Raion earlier in the day on Oct. 14.

Later in the evening, an incoming strike damaged a private residence and a civilian vehicle near Oleksandriia. According to the officials, neither of these earlier localized strikes caused casualties.

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.

Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.

For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
