Two people were injured and fires broke out in Svyatoshynskyi and Desnyanskyi districts following a Russian missile strike on Kyiv overnight, State Emergency Service reported on July 8.

Russian troops attacked Kyiv for the third time in a week overnight, with reports of ballistic missile and jet drone strikes. The first explosions echoed through the capital even before air raid sirens sounded.

An administrative building and warehouses caught fire in Svyatoshynskyi district. Two people were injured there, one of whom was hospitalized.

A garage cooperative burned at another address. The attack also damaged an administrative building and trams.

Rescuers localized the fires at all locations, the statement read.
