Ukraine’s Air Force destroys Russian Shahed drones over Zaporizhzhya, Cherkasy, and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts
Ukraine neutralized all three Shahed kamikaze drones Russia fired at the country overnight on May 28, Air Force commander, Mykola Oleshchuk, reported on Telegram.
Russian troops launched the drones from Russia’s Primorsko-Akhtarsk Oblast.
Air Force units shot down enemy drones over Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, and Cherkasy oblasts.
An air raid alert was declared overnight on May 28 in a range of Ukraine’s oblasts due to the Russian drone attack.
Ukraine manages to eliminate over 80% of drones fired by Russia, the Wall Street Journal reported.
