Explosions rock Dnipro as drone hits apartment building

Russian drones hit residential apartment building in Dnipro, fires broke out inside several apartments, local governor Oleksandr Hanzha reported on Jan. 22.
He confirmed a drone strike on Dnipro and damage to a high-rise building. Two apartments caught fire. No casualties were reported so far.
Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov earlier said Russian forces struck a residential building.
Ukraine’s Air Force earlier reported a group of Russian attack drones heading toward Dnipro.
An air raid alert was declared in Dnipro and parts of the oblast, as well as in neighboring regions.
Earlier on Jan. 22, Russia launched a ballistic missile strike on Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast following a nighttime mass Shahed drone attack on the city. Five people, including a child, were reported injured, according to the oblast administration.
Overnight, Russia launched 94 drones across Ukraine. Air defenses neutralized 80 of them, while ten impacts were recorded.
