Black smoke and carcinogens blanket Perm after oil facility attack - video

So-called "oil rain" fell after a drone attack on oil facilities and massive fires in Russia's Perm Krai, the Russian Telegram channel Agentstvo. Novosti wrote on April 29.
Photos of black smoke blanketing the sky over the city of Perm are circulating online. An "oil rain" later fell in the Russian oblast — local residents noticed black spots on their clothes, cars, and buildings.
The exact same "rain" was spotted by residents of Tuapse, where Rosneft's oil infrastructure continues to burn after three drone attacks since April 16. Russian ecologists state that the black color of the smoke in Perm Krai, as in Tuapse, is a direct sign of a high concentration of soot with adsorbed carcinogens, which settle down as "rain" and pose a severe threat to human health.
Perm Krai Governor Dmitry Makhonin confirmed the drone strike and a fire "at one of the industrial sites" in the Perm municipal district today. Exilenova+ monitoring channel reported that Defense Forces drones struck the Perm node station of the Transneft system, which is responsible for pumping, storing, and distributing oil through main pipelines.
Some of the largest oil tanks in Russia are located at this station, according to OSINT analysts.
UAV attacks and explosions were reported in the city of Perm and in Orsk, Orenburg Oblast, overnight and on the morning of April 29. Orsknefteorgsintez, one of Russia's leading oil refineries, is located in the latter.
Russia's Defense Ministry claimed to have "intercepted" 98 drones over seven Russian oblasts and Crimea overnight.
