A Russian rocket barrage on Kharkiv has left five civilians dead, and 22 – injured, including four children, Kharkiv regional Governor Oleh Synegubov said in a Telegram post on June 27.

Emergency and medical workers are providing the necessary care to the injured.

“Casualty figures are still being updated,” said Synegubov.

“The invaders struck yards and streets – purely civilian infrastructure, with only civilians around.”

According to the governor, Russia is deliberately seeking to terrorize the civilian population and urged people to heed air raid warnings and avoid going outside without a good reason.
