FSB’s deadly plot: Russia recruits 'suicide bombers' to attack Ukraine’s enlistment offices – SBU warns
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) revealed a new Russian tactic for recruiting Ukrainians — using them to carry out attacks on military enlistment offices and then eliminating them as witnesses, the officers wrote on Feb. 6.

The Ukrainian security agency urged citizens to report any recruitment attempts through the Expose the FSB agent chatbot.
"If someone offers you or someone you know to 'just deliver a package' to a military enlistment office, police station, or another administrative building — know that they intend to kill you," the SBU warned.
To use the chatbot, individuals should open it in Telegram and report details of the crime they were asked to commit, including any contacts or information about the recruiter that could help expose Russian intelligence operations. The SBU guarantees full confidentiality and thorough investigation of all reports.
On Feb. 5, an explosion occurred near a military enlistment office (TCC) in Kamyanets-Podilskyi. Reports indicate one fatality, who was allegedly the bomber.
Kamyanets-Podilskyi Mayor Mykhailo Positko stated that the explosion happened as someone approached the enlistment office to "deliver items to a soldier." Four people were injured, including two doctors working at the commission, a soldier, and a passerby.
Ukraine’s National Police Chief, Ivan Vyhivskyi, said that Russian intelligence services were behind the attack, attempting to destabilize the situation.
This marks the fourth attack on enlistment offices in Ukraine within a week.

Feb. 1, Rivne: An explosion at a TCC wounded six people and killed one. Ukrainian police said Russia recruited a 21-year-old unemployed man from Zhytomyr, who was killed in the explosion.
Feb. 1, Pyriatyn, Poltava Oblast: An unknown assailant in a balaclava shot a TCC officer at a gas station and fled with the weapon. The attack happened while servicemen were escorting conscripts to a training center. Both the shooter and an escaping recruit were later detained.
Feb. 2, Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast: A bomb exploded near a TCC, injuring a 24-year-old soldier. On Feb. 5, the SBU reported the arrest of three suspects.
Feb. 5, Kamyanets-Podilskyi: A bomb exploded near the enlistment office. The suspect was reportedly killed.
