Russian drone strike kills one, damages civilian sites in Odesa Oblast

The Russian drone strike targeted Odesa district - multiple civilian infrastructure suffered damage, at least one person was killed, Odesa governor Oleh Kiper reported late on May 5.

The Russian strike damaged several civilian infrastructure facilities in the Odesa district, including private residential homes. Fires broke out in some locations.

“A killed person was found in one of the houses," he wrote.

"Additional information on casualties is being clarified.”

Explosions were reported in Odesa earlier. Before that, the Air Force had warned about a group of Russian UAVs moving from the Black Sea toward Odesa Oblast.
