Russian attack disrupts railway traffic near Sumy

Trains running in the Sumy direction are being re-routed, final stop were changed following a new Russian strike on the railway, Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) reported on Oct. 9.
Long-distance trains now traveling on detour routes include:

Suburban trains now travel only as far as Nosivka station, and depart from there as well, according to Ukrzaliznytsia.
Sumy governor Oleh Hryhorov said that rail traffic is temporarily rerouted due to the threat of further Russian attacks. The movement in the region, he added, is organized to ensure the safety of passengers.
On Oct. 8, Ukrzaliznytsia reported the cancellation of several routes and train delays in the Nizhyn direction after Russian shelling damaged railway infrastructure in Nizhyn, Chernihiv Oblast. At least six trains were delayed, and suburban routes were limited to Nosivka station.
