Russian tech found in Iranian drone that hit UK base

The wreckage of an Iranian Shahed-136 drone that attacked a British airbase in Cyprus may have contained elements of Russia’s CRPA-Kometa-M electronic protection antenna, Clash Reports wrote on Telegram on March 2.
The same system is also used on Russian drones and missiles that are fired against Ukraine. This could indicate a possible reverse transfer of technology between Tehran and Moscow.
On the night of March 2, an Iranian attack drone hit the British RAF Akrotiri airbase in Cyprus. No casualties were reported. The base sustained what officials described as “minor damage.”
On March 1, UK Defense Secretary John Healey said that Iran had fired two missiles toward Cyprus, where the United Kingdom maintains military bases.
