Russia launched three missile attacks on industrial facilities in the Khmelnytskyi Oblast in western Ukraine overnight, the region’s governor Serhiy Hamaliy said on March 30.
According to him, rescuers have already brought the fires under control. Currently, information about the number of victims of the air strikes is being verified.
Khmelnytskyi Mayor Oleksandr Simchyshyn said all relevant services responded in a seamless and swift manner. The lives of local residents and refugees are not in danger, he said.
“The Horde (the Russians - ed) have launched rocket attacks on Khmelnytskyi,” Simchyshyn said.
“Last night’s strike was the first since Feb. 24. Now the situation in the city is under complete control.”
