Sevastopol restricts electricity following drone attacks across Crimea

Electricity restrictions were introduced in temporarily occupied Sevastopol to prevent a system-wide failure across Crimea's power grid following drone attacks, Russian-installed proxy leader Mikhail Razvozhayev announced on July 27.
According to him, the power outages were implemented to prevent an accident across Crimea's entire energy system.
He added that a special operating mode was introduced at energy facilities, while social infrastructure facilities transitioned to backup power supply.
Razvozhayev also announced an air alert in occupied Sevastopol and air defense activity amid UAV attack.
Overnight on July 26, drone flights and powerful explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea. UAVs were recorded over Feodosiya — likely striking positions belonging to Russian radar stations on Mount Tepe-Oba. Reports regarding a strike on a power substation later started circulating online.
